Black Lavastone
Black Lavastone, also called Pedra Hitam Preta or Temple Stone, is an igneous volcanic rock formed from Mount Merapi’s eruption. This stone has a deep black color, low porosity, and high durability. It was used in the construction of Borobudur and Prambanan temples, which have stood for centuries without natural damage.

The Black Lavastone, also known as Pedra Hitam Preta or Temple Stone, comes from Mount Merapi, Central Java, Indonesia. It has a unique jet-black color and low porosity. Historically, Indonesian ancestors carved statues from lava rock, choosing smooth and non-porous surfaces for aesthetic beauty.
